Robert Quarles

As chief operating officer for Fairway Construction, Robert Quarles oversees and assists with operational functions within the construction and development teams, including business planning, training, process and procedures, risk management and execution. In his role, he brings his technical acumen, operations experience and leadership skills to the team in efforts to drive operational success and company growth into the future.

Robert began his career in construction over 30 years ago, working in the field as a framer, carpenter, roofer, concrete mason, rod buster and field engineer. He received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and then began practicing engineering as a design-build environmental remediation specialist serving government, industrial, commercial and developer clients throughout the western United States. He later obtained his Master of Science in civil engineering from San Diego State University and professional engineering license in the state of California. Robert is also a LEED accredited professional within the sustainability marketplace segment.
