October New Hire Orientation

The monthly new hire orientation took place in the beginning of October in Columbia, Missouri. Please welcome our new employees to the JES Holdings family of companies!

 

DEBBIE JACKSON
Property Manager – Canterbury Park and St. Peters Villa

Debbie joined the FWM family as Property Manager for Canterbury Park and St. Peters Villa in July.  In her role, she collects rent, processes invoices, focuses on resident retention, creates social programming and manages the property staff.  Debbie is a Certified Occupancy Specialist and is LIHTC certified.  When she is not working, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family.

 

 

 

 

DONNA YEAGER
Property Manager – Mexico Meadows

Previously with us as a temp employee, Donna joined the FWM team full-time in August.  As the Property Manager for Mexico Meadows, she is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and budget for her property, collecting rent and processing new applications.   Prior to joining us, Donna worked as a Manager for the Missouri Department of Revenue License Office.

 

 

 

 

JACKIE YELDER
Property Manager – Harristown Park and The Village at Walker’s Bend

Jackie accepted the position of Property Manager with FWM in August and now manages Harristown Park and The Village at Walker’s Bend. Among many other responsibilities, she manages the day-to-day operations, collects rent, processes applications for potential new residents and administers recertifications.  Jackie brings with her 12 years of experience in property management.

 

 

 

KAREN DAKERS
Property Manager – Fairgrounds Senior Village

Karen joined the FWM team in August.  As a Property Manager, she is responsible for administering lease applications, posting rent and deposits, processing invoices and most importantly, interacting with her residents.  Before joining FWM, Karen had 10 years of experience as a Licensed Real Estate Agent.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling and volunteering as a Guardian Ad Litem.

 

 

 

 

KELLY BUCHHEIT
Concierge/Events – The Village of Bedford Walk

Kelly accepted her position with Bedford Walk and JES in September.  As the Concierge for Bedford Walk, she works directly with the residents to coordinate details to enhance their lifestyle.  Due to the dual function of her role, Kelly also coordinates activities and events for JES.  Kelly is a proud Mizzou graduate and previously worked as a Manager for Jina Yoo’s Asian Bistro.

 

 

 

 

KIMBERLY SHEPPARD
Property Manager – Wisteria Gardens

Kimberly joined FWM in August at one of our new properties, Wisteria Gardens.  Kimberly works to find qualified potential residents, process applications and attends community chamber meetings to positively showcase the property.  Kimberly holds an Associates’ Degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Occupancy Specialist.  She has 20 years of experience in property management.

 

 

 

 

LELAND NUNN
Project Superintendent – Fairway Construction

Leland joined the FWC family in the role of Project Superintendent in October.  His first full project will be Lakeview Senior Gardens in Georgia.  He is responsible for managing sub-contractor activities on the job site and ensuring all inspections are completed.  Leland has 30 years’ experience in construction, with 10 years working on Tax Credit properties.  In his free time, he enjoys fishing and playing tennis.

 

 

 

 

LIZ SANCHEZ
Property Manager – Ford Lofts and Delaware Duplexes

Liz joined the FWM team in August.  As the Property Manager for Ford Lofts and Delaware Duplexes, she is responsible for processing applications, collecting rent, interacting with her residents and overseeing the day-to-day operations.  Liz has over 15 years of experience in property management. When she isn’t busy at one of her properties, Liz enjoys painting.

 

 

 

MIKE GACHES
Project Superintendent – Fairway Construction

Mike joined the FWC team in October.  Residing in Oklahoma, Mike is currently working on our Mockingbird Estates project.  He manages the sub-contractor activities on the job site, including scheduling and quality control.  He also ensures all project inspections are successfully completed.  Mike is a Journeyman Carpenter and has previous experience in multifamily housing and historical projects.

 

 

 

 

RACHEL SHELBY
Property Manager – Red Oak Village

Rachel took up the role of Property Manager at one of our new builds, Red Oak Village, in July.  In her position, she collects rent, administers applications and recertifications, processes invoices and interacts with her residents.  Prior to joining FWM, Rachel worked in marketing, leasing and property management.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her daughter and husband.

 

 

 

 

ROBIN ECHOLS
Project Administrator – Fairway Construction

Robin accepted the role of Project Administrator with FWC in August.  Her responsibilities include administrative duties related to our sub-contractors and providing support to our FWC teams working in the field.  Robin has spent the past 14 years working in the construction industry.  When she is not at work, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her three sons.
