Annual Ironton Estates Easter Egg Hunt Recognized by State Representative
In conjunction with the local Ironton County Head Start program, Ironton Estates, a Fairway Management senior community located in Ironton, Missouri, hosted their eighth annual Easter Egg Hunt. Members of the Head Start program and grandchildren of the residents were able to participate in the event.
On the morning of the hunt, residents stuffed and placed almost 1,300 eggs on the grounds of Ironton Estates for the 38 children to find. Even though it was a chilly 47 degrees Fahrenheit outside, the children picked up all of the eggs in under 10 minutes!
The area’s State Representative, Chris Dinkins, heard about the event and sent a personalized thank you to Ironton Estates for all they do for their community.
